As part of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a skilled and culturally aware Business Development Executive to help us expand our client base, strengthen supplier relationships, and improve our market positioning.
Job Overview:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, negotiating supplier and client contracts, and developing marketing and growth strategies tailored to our core demographic. The role requires cultural fluency, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of B2B business in diverse markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Strategic Growth
Identify and pursue B2B trade opportunities within the UK and internationally.
Develop and execute strategies for client acquisition and revenue growth.
Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers and clients.
2. Supplier & Client Relations
Build long-term partnerships with wholesale buyers, distributors, and manufacturers.
Provide culturally tailored solutions for Arabic-speaking customers and suppliers.
Represent Agyad Limited at trade events and exhibitions.
3. Market Intelligence & Positioning
Analyse trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity.
Work with marketing and sales teams on product launches and promotional campaigns.
Adjust pricing and offerings to suit market demand.
4. Operations & Performance Analysis
Monitor performance data and prepare reports for senior management.
Contribute to risk assessment, contingency planning, and operational stability.
Ensure alignment with the company’s long-term expansion objectives.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Business, Marketing, or International Trade (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 2 years in business development, sales, or trade.
Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Understanding of wholesale/retail supply chains
Cultural awareness, particularly of Middle Eastern and North African markets
Proficiency with business tools (e.g. Excel, CRM systems)
